Supposedly loyal men of the French Crown, these Corsairs square off against every enemies of King Louis, and then disembark right here on the island of Mont-Royal, to get themselves some well-earned rest in the esteemed Cabaret du Roy.

But the rumor-mill is far from keeping quiet these days… Who are they really? How come they’re so far away from their usual abodes in the West Indies? Is it to “get some well-earned rest” they end up here, or just to hide? And what if they were no Corsairs at all, but just common pirates and nasty sea-rovers? Who knows if they really do it for the King, or simply plunder and kill for their own profit…

And why Le Cabaret du Roy? The innkeeper Pierre-Esprit le Normand always brags about his adventurous past on the high seas aboard a Corsair ship. Could all these tall stories be true, after all? Was Pierre-Esprit once a Corsair… and were these raucous seamen his shipmates?

In order to finally learn the truth about this, drop by Le Cabaret du Roy, and come get some “rest” (you earned it too). We have succulent food aplenty, but also some games and wicked enigmas to solve, plus of course the good old sailor songs, and occasional brawl! Don’t wait any longer: all aboard!
